Introducing Mor’du, our 7-year-old pure Juliana neutered male pig. His 60-80 lb frame carries a history of neglect and abuse, made evident not just in his behavioral patterns, but in the state of health upon his arrival. Fortunately, under our care, he’s made remarkable progress. Although still cautious, he’s begun to appreciate human interactions, especially when they involve his beloved treats: bananas, strawberries, apples, and more. Mor’du would best thrive in a setting where his caretakers have previous experience with pigs and understand their unique behaviors. A home without young children, offering a secure pasture — possibly with another piggy companion — would be his ideal sanctuary.
